
Quality Assurance Department
The Quality Assurance Department is one of the most strategic and essential divisions within the organizational structure of Kerman Battery. It is responsible for directing, monitoring, and improving quality at all stages of production—from raw materials to the final product. This department operates systematically and in compliance with international standards, with the ultimate goal of ensuring customer satisfaction.
At Kerman Battery, the quality management system is designed and implemented based on the requirements of the IATF 16949 standard, which is specifically tailored to the automotive industry. This ensures that all manufacturing, quality control, traceability, and continuous improvement processes are executed at the highest performance levels. The Quality Assurance Department is in charge of enforcing this system and continuously monitoring its alignment with operational processes.
The department’s responsibilities include drafting quality procedures and work instructions, overseeing process performance, conducting internal audits, identifying root causes of nonconformities, and planning corrective and preventive actions. In addition, it focuses on risk management, monitoring performance indicators (KPIs), and maintaining process reliability throughout the production line.
Key activities of this department also involve analyzing customer feedback, managing complaints, and monitoring data from the After-Sales Service Department. These insights serve as valuable inputs for technical and engineering decision-making and are used to enhance product design and quality.
Working in close collaboration with the company’s advanced laboratories, the Quality Assurance Department conducts all necessary physical, chemical, and performance tests to validate product quality. Quality control is applied at multiple checkpoints, including raw material inspection, in-process evaluations, and final product approval before dispatch.
Promoting a culture of quality is another core mission of this department. Through regular training sessions for personnel in production, engineering, and support departments, the organization strives to instill the importance of quality across all levels of the workforce.
